The former deputy premier of NSW, Dr Andrew Refshauge, is to take over as chair of the health data agency the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (see link).
Dr Refshauge, who is also a medical practitioner, will guide the AIHW in producing health statistic and outcome data over the next three years as Federal government health reforms are implemented.
