Surgical superglue gets seal of approval

A new elastic surgical glue which can seal internal wounds without the need for staples or stitches is set to change how surgery is performed, researchers say.

The ‘squirtable’ elastic surgical glue, called MeTro, was developed by experts in tissue elsatin at the University of Sydney in collaboration with US universities.
