UK doctors have accused health authorities of "scapegoating" a junior paediatrician who was struck off after the death of a six-year-old patient.

Thousands have signed a petition in support of Dr Hadiza Bawa-Garba, who received a suspended sentence after being convicted of manslaughter by gross negligence for her role in the death of Jack Adocock who had Down syndrome.
